Inside Out Club is a safe, positive, calm space for children.
The timetable is carefully structured and includes a balance between enriched experiences, social skills, building self-esteem and resilience, through the development of building positive trusting relationship with adults.
Miss Jacobs and Mrs Newby both work in our Inside Out Club.
Inside Out welcomes feedback from parents and encourage visits to see the Inside Out room.
Miss Jacobs is Our School's ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)
The School's ELSA supports and teaches the emotional development of children.
During ELSA sessions, social stories and play is used along with specified activities based to develop emotional wellbeing. The children are taught to respect feelings and emotions, and how to use those strategies to deal with certain emotions (such as anger or sadness), as tools in everyday life.
Teaching consists of activities based around the children's feelings, and other's around them; confidence building, team/ friendship building or a chance to talk.
