Computing at Manor Oak
The national curriculum for computing aims to ensure that all pupils:
At Manor Oak we use the NCCE scheme where pupils have the opportunity to become computer programmers in different real life contexts.
At Manor Oak, we use Espresso Block Coding. It's block-based, drag-and-drop system supports accessible, creative learning for children of all abilities and levels of experience. Children can easily make presentations, games, simulations, puzzle. Scratch can support learning across the whole curriculum, using contexts across maths, English and beyond.
