Just a reminder to parents that we are a “nut free” school because we have children who are allergic to nuts, which is a life threatening condition. We do not use nuts in any of our food prepared on site at school.
Please can you help us to protect these children by being vigilant when providing your child with packed lunch and when bringing any foods such as snacks and birthday cakes.
Our “Nut-Free Policy” means that the following items should not be brought into school:
School dinners are £2.20 a day. Please send in the money to the school office in a named sealed envelope. We ask all parents to pay in advance, in order to provide school dinners for children.
Don't forget that all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils can enjoy a free school meal without charge every day irrespective of income. However, don't forget to still register if you are entitled to Free School Meals before September every year to ensure you child receive a free meal.
Our caterer's Special diets process ensure that all pupils with allergies and intolerances can enjoy safe and suitable school meals with their friends.
If your child has a food allergy, intolerance or other special dietary requirement please do not hesitate to contact the school office, with appropriate medical information and to return a referral form.
In light of the Government's Childhood obesity plan, nutrition and healthy eating continues to be at the heart of everything we do. Our eat well strategy outlines out commitments to supporting pupils to gain healthy eating habits for life.
